Another Year End

While we are quickly wrapping up one year and heading into another this is a time when many of us reflect and evaluate on the past year and make plans and set new goals for the new year. Both are worthy endeavors. I am giving you 10 simple and quick ideas that if you will incorporate them into you life you will be much further ahead.

 

1. How you think is everything. Always be Positive. Think Success not failure. Beware of a negative environment.

 

2. Decide upon your goals and write them down. Be as specific as possible. Then write down your plan to reach them. Remember a goal without a plan is just a dream.

 

3. Take action. Goals are nothing without action. Don’t be afraid to get started NOW. JUST DO IT!

 

4. Never stop learning! Go back to school, attend seminars, read, read, read…. Get training, acquire and improve your skills.

 

5. Learn to analyze details quickly. Get the facts and the details you need then take action.

 

6. Be persistent (learn from you mistakes) and work hard. Success is a marathon not a sprint. Never give up.

 

7. Focus your time and money. Use them both effectively. Don’t let other people or things distract you.

 

8. Don’t be afraid to innovate. Use your knowledge and skills. Be different, following the crowd can be a sure way to mediocrity.

 

9. Deal and communicate with people effectively. No person is an island. Delegate and use others skills. Learn to motivate and understand others.

 

10.Be Honest and dependable. Take responsibility.
